Meet Ashley!

My journey to becoming a therapist began in education, where I worked as both a teacher and school counselor in the Dallas area. Supporting children, adolescents, and families during those years strengthened my belief that meaningful growth begins with feeling understood and supported. Those experiences continue to shape my work today, reminding me that every person has a unique story, inherent strengths, and the capacity for growth

Today, I have the privilege of supporting children, adolescents, adults, parents, and families through virtual therapy across Texas. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, parenting challenges, neurodivergence, or simply feeling stuck, I strive to meet you with warmth, curiosity, and compassion.

In addition to providing therapy, I have experience conducting diagnostic evaluations for ADHD, autism, and a variety of mental health concerns, as well as immigration evaluations. This work has deepened my understanding of the many ways individuals experience and navigate the world, while reinforcing the importance of approaching each person with curiosity, compassion, and an individualized, strengths-based perspective.

My Approach

I believe therapy is most effective when it feels collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique experiences and goals. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work alongside each client to understand their strengths, challenges, and what matters most to them. Together, we’ll build practical tools, deepen self-understanding, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), person-centered therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. I thoughtfully integrate these approaches based on your individual needs, recognizing that every person’s journey is different.

When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll most likely find me spending time with my husband, our two boys, and our two dogs. As a wife and mom, I understand that life can be wonderfully meaningful while also feeling busy, messy, and sometimes overwhelming. Those experiences have deepened my appreciation for the importance of grace, flexibility, and finding joy in the small moments.

I’m a proud Texas native and graduate of Texas A&M University, and I love spending quality time with family, being outdoors, exploring new places, and enjoying the little moments that often become the most meaningful memories.

I believe some of life’s greatest growth happens through connection—with ourselves, with others, and with the things that matter most to us. That perspective shapes both my personal life and my work as a therapist.
